Terms of Service

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your password confidential. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. One person, one primary account — don't create multiple accounts to evade a ban or restriction.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Gold Messenger to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Share illegal content, or content that violates someone else's rights.
• Attempt to bypass, exploit, or interfere with the Service's security, moderation tools, or tier limits.
• Impersonate Gold Messenger staff, Red Admins, or another user.
• Use bots, scripts, or modified clients to gain an unfair advantage or bypass restrictions.

Violating these terms may result in a warning, a temporary ban, or a permanent ban at our discretion — including a full Nick Ban across the entire Messenger for serious violations.

3. Rooms and Moderation

Room Owners and Admins have moderation authority within their own rooms, within the limits built into the app. Red Admins have platform-wide moderation authority in public rooms. Gold Messenger reserves the right to intervene in, close, or restrict any room that violates these Terms.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

Colored IDs, Room Colors, Crowns, and Flair are optional paid upgrades, billed for the duration you select at checkout (1, 3, 6, or 12 months). Prices are shown in USD (international card payments) or PKR (local bank transfer) at checkout. Subscriptions do not auto-upgrade or change tier without your action. All purchases are final — we do not offer refunds, except where required by law or in the case of a technical error on our end that prevented the badge from being applied.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the Service running reliably, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or events outside our control may cause temporary downtime.

6. Content You Send

You retain ownership of the messages, images, and content you send through Gold Messenger. By sending content through the Service, you allow us to store and transmit it as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., saving chat history, relaying messages to other room members).

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice for serious violations.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Gold Messenger is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
